What is it about?
The promoters of this 2-years European initiative are the following organisations: in Italy CSV MARCHE and WAREHOUSE HUB, in Belgium CENTRE EUROPEEN DU VOLONTARIAT, in Austria E.N.T.E.R, and in Lithuania JAUNUOLIU DIENOS CENTRAS.
The project aims to:
- develop an easy-to-use Web App, blockchain based, accessible in five languages, to support the validation of relevant competences in youth volunteering
- engage Volunteer Organisations in Europe through the participation of 20 young volunteers, 20 youth leaders and 8 assessors coming from Italy, Austria, Belgium and Lithuania in a free training program on relevant transversal skills
- empower young volunteers, youth leaders and organisations in recognising and assess the transversal competences identified within the DYVO Model
- empower young volunteers, youth leaders and organisations in the development and exploitation of methods, tools and procedures for validating competencies acquired whilst volunteering
Who can apply?
Young Volunteers
- aged between 18-30
- having a volunteering experience of at least 4 months
- currently not full-time employed
- interested in learning and exchanging with peers in national and international environments
- committed to attend the full duration of the course, consisting of 4 national and 2 transnational workshops, and remain engaged throughout the project
- willing to make a learning and sharing experience abroad
- proficiency of the English language
- willing to create a profile and take active part in the development and testing of our collaborative, innovative Web App and community
Youth Leaders/Tutors
- aged under 45
- interested in engaging and learning with peers in national and international environments
- determined to attend the full duration of the course, consisting of 4 national and 1 transnational workshops, and remain engaged throughout the project
- willing to make a learning and sharing experience abroad
- proficiency of the English language
- willing to take active part in the development and testing of the DYVO Web App for the validation of the competences of volunteers
Assessors
- a representative of your organisation who will be in charge of assessing and certifying the competences developed by the volunteers working in your organisation can also be selected to take part in the project
